Social Welfare Programmes

The wellbeing of underprivileged sector of the society has been one of the primary objectives of Swaroopseva. Be it underprivilege children, orphans, special children or be it senior citizens, we have conducted various engaging and developmental activities for such people.  

Diwali festival at Sahyadri Gurukul was one of the most consistent activities in the decade of 90. Swaroopseva volunteers used to visit Sahyadri Gurukul and celebrate Diwali by making forts, showering the children with the Holy Bath of Diwali – ‘Abhyangasnaan’ eating sweets – the ‘Faraal‘ and bursting firecrackers with those children.

Also on the occasion of ‘Kojagiri Pornima‘ visiting the blind schools and hostels and enjoying the cup of ‘Masala Doodh’ in Pune was the regular activity.
